The Conjuring 3 Will Be a Different Movie Concept Entirely From the Formal

In a discussion with Cinema BlendThe Conjuring 3 producer, Peter Safran said:

“There are some [cases] that maybe aren’t as well known, but they spent a fair bit of time researching and were part of [them]. Clearly we can’t do another haunted house movie, right? We can’t do another supernatural possession in a house, with a family in peril. Right? So, it’s got to be something different than that, I think.”

“Stranger Things”: Season 2 Horror and Trepidations- ‘Make That Demogorgon Look Quaint’

Stranger Things season 2 returns this fall, and will be a lot more darker. During an interview with YouTube’s GoldDerby, executive producer Shawn Levy emphasized that this time around, the story will be far more precarious:

“They’ve announced a reboot? Okay, well good luck with that. I think a lot of people with these franchises kind of put the cart before the horse. There’s a danger to that. They’ve been wanting to reboot Resident Evil for a long time, and listen: I love the Resident Evil world. I think it’s a great property, I would do it if I was a producer.
