As I was going through Crackle movies few hours ago, I stumbled upon a 1996 movie titled From Dusk Till Dawn. The movie is so crazy in a sense that the plot was vague but on the long run, the movie turned out to be entertaining, as it transitioned into a whole vampire saga.

The movie centers on Seth Gecko (George Clooney and his paranoid, loose-cannon brother, Richard (Quentin Tarantino), who is on the run after a bank robbery that left several police officers dead, and they try to escape to Mexico. Kidnapping preacher Jacob Fuller (Harvey Keitel) and his kids, the criminals sneak across the border in the family’s RV and hole up in a topless bar. Unfortunately, the bar also happens to be home base for a gang of vampires. His paranoid brother and Jacob’s family happened to die in the vampire saga, leaving him and Jacob’s daughter alone as the survivor.

The transition of the movie from a thief, who was on the run to a thief fighting vampires was weird, but entertaining. The saddest part of the movie is the innocent Jacob who lost his life and son during the whole battle. Guess what, the movie ended when the day was dawn, the thief went his way, giving Jacob’s surviving daughter some cash to find her way home. It’s so sad that the thief had to get away easily with all the chaos he caused. Also, the title of the movie From Dusk Till Dawn doesn’t really represent the movie. The title should have been Fate, as the thief saw things scarier than him and Innocent Jacob facing-off with his fate of loosing his family. Have you watched this movie? What do you think of the movie?
