Adam West, the tv ‘Batman’ died at age 88 on Friday after a legendary 62-year-long career. He was the third iteration of the live action “Batmen back” in 1966 and was first seen as Batman after taking over the roll from Robert Lowery, who starred in 1949’s “Batman and Robin.” Ben Affleck, the “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” hero, has paid tribute to the legend, referring to him as the exemplification of heroism on twitter.
Adam West exemplified heroism. Kind, funny and an all around great guy. Thank you for showing us all how it’s done. @therealadamwest
